More than sixty women have participated this weekend in the VIII Women's Days organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Águilas.

Throughout the weekend, the hostel in Calarreona has been the meeting point for the realization of different workshops and activities with which the activities program of the Women's Center is closed until next September.

The mayoress of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of the area, Isabel María Torrente, were in charge of developing the opening day in which the "importance of creating spaces for meeting and empowering women" was highlighted.
