Students of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade of elementary school participated in the contest whose awards ceremony was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of health, Rosalía Casado.

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno;

the mayor of health, Rosalía Casado and the president of the Association Lactancia y Crianza Feliz, Julia Sánchez, presided over the awards ceremony of the sixth edition of the school competition, organized by the Association Lactancia y Crianza Feliz, in which students from 3rd, 4th and 5th grade of the aquiline schools El Rubial, Carlos V, Joaquín Tendero, Virgen de los Dolores, María Inmaculada and Las Lomas.

The most participative school in this edition has been the CEIP Joaquín Tendero.

The prizes have been the following:

1st prize for best figure: Rocío Sánchez Pastrana with the figure "Mother" of the CEIP Las Lomas.

2nd prize: Encarnación Navarro Viveros with the figure "Actively suckling", by CEIP Joaquín Tendero.

3rd prize: Sergio Galán Torres with "Eternal Milk" from CEIP Joaquín Tendero.

3rd prize: José Rodríguez with the figure "Breastfeeding at work", from the Mª Inmaculada school.

Award for the best title "Anywhere you can breastfeed" Nerea Morata Pérez de Joaquín Tendero.

After the awards ceremony, there was a talk "The Myths of Breastfeeding", given by Ricardo García de León, pediatrician responsible for the Regional Plan "1000 first days" of the Murcian Health Service.
