The subscriber and care of the copies of the municipality of Águilas constitutes a key piece for the Consistory.

For this reason, a team of two people makes a fertilization of the different specimens and flowers that 'coexist' in the different green areas.

"Right now, treatments are being carried out on more than fifty specimens, such as orange trees, cycads, ficus, chefs or jasmine trees, among others, which can also be extended to some 1500 plants (1,200 begonias drago and 300 geraniums). mainly in Plaza de España, Plaza Alfonso Escámez and different flowerpots ", explains the mayor of Empresas Prestadora de Servicios, Isabel Fernández.

Some treatments that always look for the care of the specimens and the more environmentally sustainable side.

For this reason, the products are totally natural, that do not generate odors and, many of them are composed of everyday elements such as, for example, algae.

"Citizens benefit from this type of 'mimes' suffered by the specimens and plants in aspects such as more vivid colors, greater resistance to weather agents, greater growth, as well as a lower number of pests," explains the mayor Fernández

The fertilizer is obtained by the contribution of organic matter (vegetable or animal) and mineral to the soil, thus achieving that the tree or plant has all the necessary elements for its development and correct growth.

The City Council is committed to continue increasing the different areas of the municipality in which both geraniums and flowering plants are planted.
