The Councilman of the Popular Municipal Group, Francisco J. Clemente, has presented to the ordinary Plenary of November a proposal to call the Government of Pedro Sanchez to "guarantee and expand the educational freedoms enshrined in the Constitution."

"The GMP is the only one that defends it, and will fight to continue maintaining the right of fathers and mothers, so that they can choose what education they want for their children and to give a voice to both the concerted centers and those in the network. public.

Clemente explained to the House that the Spanish Constitution of 1978 simultaneously includes the right to freedom of education and the right to education as subjective public rights, with a clear objective of reconciling the constitutional principles of freedom and equality, in this sense, the article 27.1 of the Magna Carta establishes as a fundamental precept that "everyone has the right to education, the freedom to teach is recognized".

PSOE, Podemos and IU voted against this motion, belittling the freedom of fathers and mothers, and giving value to the proposed amendment to the Education law that involves an attack on religion in school, to the concert centers, and that also intends that students with pending subjects can pass the baccalaureate.

Finally, he remarked that "a new education law, another one, is not what the school community is asking for, let alone without consensus, and without budgetary allocations."

From the Popular Group we believe that it is necessary to reach a true educational pact that includes, among other measures, ongoing training for teachers, professional training and solutions for early school leaving, that is, real solutions to real problems "

The popular council stressed that only real solutions can be given with resources, as was done in the years of PP government in the town, with contributions

municipal and autonomous, and although today the regional government of Fernando López Miras budgets 4 out of every 10 Euros for education, there is no co-responsibility at the municipal level.

For all these reasons, we will continue defending from the Partido Popular de Águilas through a harmonious development of the right to education and freedom of education, guaranteeing the right of parents to choose the type of education and the educational center where their children will be educated. but, above all, the agreement and the pact as a true democratic value.

Several requests and questions about the state of certain areas of the municipality were also presented by the Municipal People's Group, from which numerous complaints have been received since they were not resolved by the Government Team.

Thus the council members Ana Mª Miñarro, Francisco Navarro, Juan José Asensio, Clara Valverde and Carlos Bartolomé made several requests to improve the cleaning and maintenance, or the need to carry out improvement works.

The demands were made on the Residencial Los Jardines, Plaza de Montcada and Reixac, the surroundings of the commercial center in El Hornillo, Luis Siret street and the surroundings of the San Juan de las Aguilas school, where there are also neighborhood complaints.
