The classics of children's literature, protagonists of the Christmas cultural program (05/12/2018)

The mayor of Culture of the City of Águilas, Lucía Hernández, yesterday referred to the programming that the aforementioned council has developed for the Christmas holidays;

a "magical and wonderful time, especially for children, which is why we wanted to do a program where families, and especially children, can enjoy classic shows based on children's literature."

In this sense, on Saturday, December 22, the musical The Pied Piper of Hamelin will take place;

on Sunday the 23rd, Cinderella will take place;

Wednesday 26 The Cat in boots;

on Sunday 30 the work Christmas Scrogel, whose benefits will go to Pupa Clown and on January 4 the now traditional Christmas Tale by Marco Blanco, on this occasion, reaches its XXV edition.

How could it be otherwise, the music will also be present in these endearing dates of the hand of important institutions such as the Association of Friends of Culture of Eagles and the Cajamurcia Foundation that for next Friday have organized the Concert for Young Talents.

Prómusica will also offer two already classical concerts on these dates, highlighting the traditional New Year's Concert that will take place on January 2.

The Aguileño Musical Board with its Christmas concert on Friday 28 and the Nogalte Arts School that will offer its show for the benefit of Afemac on Sunday 16 will complete the musical offer.

And combining music and tradition, we will have the Fiestas de la Purísima, on Sunday the 8th at El Garrobillo;

the Encuentro de Cuadrillas, on Saturday the 15th at the Casa de la Cultura;

the Festival of the Slopes of Gos, which will be celebrated on Christmas Day;

and the Feast of the Innocents on December 28.

"A few parties in which the mayor pointed out- we can enjoy traditional music and dances from our town thanks to the effort and dedication of the Cuadrillas de La Marina and the Cuesta de Gos, responsible for this important part of our culture to survive."

The mentalist Toni Pons (Thursday, December 6) will complete this extensive program;

the theatrical performance ¡The last one to turn off the light !, directed by Antonio Ozores and starring Emma Ozores and Juan Anillo (Friday 21);

and the Belenes Contest that annually organizes the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users (Saturday 22).
