The Cultural Association of Sport Fishing "Villa de Águilas" has celebrated the traditional award ceremony of its "2018 Social Championship Sport Fishing Association Villa de Águilas".
The Fisherman of the Year trophy went to Francisco Javier Molina Guillén.
José Luis Ruiz Parra was proclaimed champion of this edition and also of the "Highest Weight" award, with 33,400 gr and "Largest Number of Pieces" with a total of 706 pcs.
Ruiz was also awarded by his association for being part of the Murcian fishing team and to be in first position in the Spanish Championship "Mar Costa" Roqueo modality together with his colleagues Francisco Gallego Pérez, Francisco Javier Gallego Ortiz, Francisco Isidoro Martínez García, Francisco José García Mulero and Antonio Asensio Caparros, where Francisco José García Mulero, was second at the individual level, and third placed, José Luis Ruiz Parra, leaving the flag of the aquiline sport fishing very high.
The second place went to Javier Robles Zapata, while Francisco Isidoro Martínez García got the third position of this annual sport fishing league.
The prize for the "Pieza Mayor" was won by Francisco Isidoro Martínez García, with a goldfish with a weight of 1,280 gr.
Likewise, during the gala dinner, Lorenzo Pérez García was also presented for 25 years as part of this association, as well as collaborators and participants of this championship.
