Águilas City Council will allocate more than 600,000 euros to the Águilas T-Forma Program (08/01/2019)

The mayor of guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, made public this morning the concession to the City Council of the concession of an important economic subsidy, from the European Social Fund, for the implementation of the Operational Program of Employment, Training and Education ( POEFE).

Moreno made this announcement in the course of a press conference in which he was accompanied by the local development councilor, Gins Desiderio Navarro, and the Economic-Financial Management technician of guilas City Council, Diego Mª Martnez.

"The proposal, presented in mid-June by the City Council, has become one of the seventy nationally selected and the only one in the Region of Murcia, this means that guilas T-Forma (name that receives the project) will receive an aid of the European Social Fund of 492,893, 22 euros to be added to the 123,223.30 municipal contribution which will give a final amount of 616,116 euros to develop training itineraries appropriate to the training needs of unemployed in the town, "said the mayor

The guilas T-Forma project, an initiative of the Mayor's Office and the Local Development and Training Department and coordinated by the Municipal Economic Development and Training Service, is aimed mainly at long-term unemployed women, under 30s and older of 55 and has a daily scholarship for attendance at the courses of 13.45 euros.

Among the objectives pursued include the development of training itineraries appropriate to the training needs of the unemployed belonging to vulnerable groups, allowing, once the training period, the obtaining of a professional certificate that increases the possibility of finding a job;

as well as the reduction of social exclusion and the promotion of adaptation of vulnerable groups through employability.

It should be noted-according to Moreno-that "the term of execution of this grant from the European Social Fund is three years, period during which training programs will be developed in key sectors for the socioeconomic development of the municipality: hospitality, socio-health and ICT".

Finally, the chief executive aquiline recalled that "this project granted to the City Council is added to the Life Adaptate Project and EDUSI, also achieved by this Government Team throughout this term, in addition to all the Mixed Programs of Employment and Training and Public Employment, all of them with a significant amount of European funding ".
