The popular Pava de la Balsa was illuminated this week in green on the occasion of World Cancer Day.

The local board of the AECC, organized, with the collaboration of the City of Águilas, a program of events that began with a religious ceremony, held yesterday in the church of San José, which was followed by the symbolic act of "lights of hope" in which all the attendees were able to light candles as a sign of support for people suffering from or suffering from cancer.

The activities will continue next Friday at the restaurant Ramonetero a dinner (22 euros covered) as well as the raffle of the painting donated by the aquiline painter Manuel Coronado.
