The municipality already has three inclusive parks for children with mobility problems (13/02/2019)

This week the third inclusive park installed in Águilas was inaugurated with the objective, pointed out the first mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, "to achieve inclusion and eliminate the barriers that prevent children from enjoying their childhood under equal conditions".

This recreational area, located in Barrio Colón, aims to promote real integration, which is why these parks are inclusive;

that is, in the same space, regular games will be integrated with others that are accessible to children with disabilities.

The first aquiline mayor, who visited this recreational facility accompanied by the mayor of Business Rendering Services, Isabel Fernandez, stressed that "one of the objectives of this Government Team is to work for the real inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as for the elimination of architectural barriers ".

In this sense, in addition to the adaptation of three playgrounds, the Government Team has launched in recent years actions such as the installation of a magnetic loop in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena aimed at people with hearing impairment;

the construction of ramps and barbacanas that have increased the accessibility of the municipality by 30%;

the Family Respite Program;

or the implementation of the I Inclusion Plan for Persons with Disabilities.
