Izquierda Unida-Verdes approved last Saturday, April 6, its full candidacy for the mayoral elections.
The list will be headed by Isabel María Torrente, current Councilor for Equality, Environment and Consumption in the City of Águilas.
The local coordinator of the training, Pedro Hernandez, said that it is "a renewed candidacy, of young people and composed mostly of women", noting that "14 of the 24 people that make up our team are women."
On the other hand, it also highlights the symbolic incorporation of Benito Rabal Balaguer, son of the famous actors Paco Rabal and Asunción Balaguer, regular columnist in the newspaper Mundo Obrero and prestigious filmmaker.
IU-Green continues with the renewal process started four years ago, including a total of ten people who are running for the first time as candidates in elections.
