Izquierda Unida-Verdes de Águilas closes its electoral campaign on Friday.
Since the formation of the left claim to feel "very proud of the work done," noting that his campaign has been "close, militant and at the foot of the street."
His candidate for mayor, Isabel María Torrente, tells us that they chose to bring their proposals to citizens visiting different neighborhoods of the municipality.
"During these days we have toured the streets of Águilas to talk with our neighbors about the future of our town."
Throughout the fifteen days of the campaign, Izquierda Unida-Verdes has worked "proactively", transferring to the public opinion some of its main demands.
In this sense, the substitution of the burning of agricultural waste for the development of the Agroa project, the declaration of Cabo Cope as a Natural Monument, its Animal Welfare Plan or its Democratic Memory Plan stand out.
"We have opted for a constructive campaign that can really benefit the people of Águilas, fleeing from attacks between parties that are of little interest to citizens."
Propaganda distribution, glued posters, installation in our streets of banners and banners or intense work in social networks, have been some of the actions that have marked the activity of IU-Green during this campaign.
A campaign, which as Isabel María Torrente points out, "has been possible thanks to the selfless work of dozens of militants and sympathizers."
