This Friday, June 28, more than 100 artists will fill the stage of the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena de Águilas, putting the finishing touch to the seventh season of concerts of Promúsica Águilas.

The Anthology of the Zarzuela is the most international of all the Zarzuela shows that have been created in Spain.

Formerly under the direction of José Tamayo, the production toured the entire world, being the quarry of numerous professionals who, after passing through the Anthology, have developed important careers that have favored the development of our lyrical genre.

Paz Volpini, general director, with long experience in the previous company of José Tamayo, has been the main responsible for the continuity of this project.

Thanks to the enormous success, the love, the commitment he has with this extraordinary genre, and the great memory of his parents walking around the world La Zarzuela, the great world-famous tenor Plácido Domingo offers his support to this project, being honorary president of the "Anthology of the Zarzuela.

There are 8 first-level soloists, 32 choir singers, 16 dancers from the best Spanish Ballet schools, 32 Orchestra teachers and a large number of production and production staff.

Almost 200 people work in this Anthology of the Zarzuela which has brought together the best young soloists in Spain.

In Águilas we will have the opportunity to listen to the soprano Teresa Castal, the tenor Moisés Molín and the baritone Andrés del Pino, accompanied by the Choral Discantus and the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, directed on this occasion by Mario Ortuño.
