The mayor of Tourism of the City of Águilas, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, has released the statistical data regarding visits received at the Tourist Office in the recently concluded month of July.
Data that the mayor has considered "very positive" and that have meant an increase of 21.71% over the previous year from 4,135 people served in July 2018 to 5,033 in the same month of the current year.
By countries it has been France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium that have generated the greatest volume of visitors in the Aguileña Office.
With regard to national tourism, Madrid, Almeria, Granada and Barcelona are the ones who lead the information request ranking in July.
The statistic also includes the age segment that registered the most visits last month in the information points, the main one being 30-45 years (1637 visitors), 45-60 years (1456 visitors), more than 60 years (1,346 visitors ) and under 30 years old (221).
