The Civil Guard of Eagles celebrated this weekend the holiday of its Patron.

The celebration began with a religious office in the Parish of San José before the image of the Virgen del Pilar attended by a large number of members of the Benemérita, led by the chief lieutenant of the main post in the town, Joaquín Guillamón.

The event was also attended by a large group of representatives of the municipal corporation among which were the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno.

After the religious act the raising of the flag of Spain took place in the castle of the town.
