PP: The PSOE votes against reducing the fiscal pressure on the residents of Ãguilas and the application of bonuses to agricultural structures that generate employment (16/10/2019)

In the interest of lowering the tax rate of the Real Estate Tax and applying bonuses to agricultural structures that generate employment in the town, the PP has presented a motion that "surprisingly has been voted against by the government team , making clear once again the little interest in reducing the fiscal pressure on the residents of Águilas ", as explained by the popular councilor, Eva Reverte

"It was time to carry out this measure with which it was intended to greatly relieve citizens who have a residence on rustic land and farmers who generate employment in the locality," to which he added that "this descent should to have been contemplated in the budgets of the next year since it is the moment in which they are beginning to elaborate ".

In this sense, Reverte has denounced that "in recent years we have seen how the receipts of the contribution have increased significantly due to the cadastral review and the high type of tax that socialist party applies to the receipts, is causing citizens to see increased their taxes considerably, "to which he added that since the PP" we already requested this reduction last year, but the absolute majority of the PSOE caused that the tax reduction was not carried out, what was approved were the agrarian structure bonuses, however, have not been implemented, so we have asked for it again so that they fulfill their commitment. "

"Working from consensus is what will benefit Águilas"

Reverte has stated that the position of the PP is to "work from consensus because it is the only position that benefits all of the Aguileños", in fact in the plenary it has been given a green light unanimously to the proposal to name a street with the name of the aguileño teacher José María Muñoz García and two motions promoted by the PSOE for the arrangement of several roads and the check book that, with some clarifications by the PP, have been approved within the municipal plenary.

"We are committed to promoting measures and initiatives that are in the common interest and we will support those that we believe are beneficial to society as a whole," said the popular mayor to what she added "that we do not understand because the PSOE has voted in against asking the Ministry of Finance to improve the financing of municipalities.
