The House of Culture hosted this weekend the presentation of the book The Melody of Poppies, by the Aguileña Dolores Ibarra.

During the event, which was attended, among others, by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Culture, Maido Simó, the Aguileña writer was appointed associate academic of the Latin American Academy of Modern Literature;

regional president of the Academy of Modern Literature in the Wings section and regional president of Poets of Al Mansura.

The act, presented by María José Muñoz Rubio, featured the performances of singer Ana García, accompanied by Diego Díaz at the piano, and the poets José Haro, Rosa Raya, Ángel Luis Alonso and Magdalena Sánchez Blesa.
