Students of the fourth year of Primary Education of the School "Mediterráneo" visited the Mental Health Association of Aguilas on November 19 to learn about the work that users do and normalize the vision of people with mental health problems.
We point out the existence of a previous link between Afemac and this educational center since both have carried out different environmental and awareness activities over recent years: festivals, ecological workshops, end of year parties, etc.
This time it is about strengthening ties through a Christmas activity that will take place in both centers.
In this way we intend that the students perceive the people of this group with total normality and, at the same time, that the Afemac users are part of the daily activity of our community.
From the Eagles Mental Health Association, we want to thank the attitude of openness and collaboration that has always shown the staff of this educational center with our association, understanding that, as one of the slogans of the Confederation of Mental Health Spain says, “Mental health It's everyone's business. ”
