The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has recently met with the head of the regional executive, Fernando López Miras, in a work meeting to address issues that Moreno pointed out- "they are vital for the municipality and whose start-up cannot keep delaying. "

Thus, the situation of the High Resolution Integral Center that will be installed in the municipality was one of the issues that focused much of the meeting.

In this sense, the first mayor of Aguileña was satisfied with the commitment of the regional president, who said that the final project will be tendered next February, a step prior to the start of the works.

Another of the commitments that López Miras acquired during this meeting with the mayor was the inclusion in the next budgets of the construction of a roundabout between Calabardina and the Marina de Cope;

an infrastructure that farmers in the area have been claiming for many years.

Regarding the implementation of the average degree of Cooking and Restoration, requested by the mayor, the regional president stressed that the project to be studied, since tourism is one of the strategic pillars for the economic policy of the Region of Murcia in the next years.

Finally, the mayor of Águilas transmitted to the head of the regional Executive the need to give the green light to the approval of the General Urban Planning Plan, a very necessary document for Águilas since, among other things, "it will provide the necessary legal security for our farmers, entrepreneurs and potential investors develop their activities ".
