The measures have been adopted by virtually all political groups represented in the municipality, with the only abstention from IU.
The municipality of Eagles held today Monday, June 14, an extraordinary plenary session the following agenda:
Approval, if appropriate, the minutes of the Special and Extraordinary Sessions Urgent, held on May 17, 2010.
Economic adaptation to the Royal Decree-Law 8 / 2010 of 20 May by adopting special measures to reduce the deficit.
The measures, which have been approved with the votes of virtually all political groups represented municipal (PP, PSOE, MASD and Mixed) and one abstention of the United Left, are:
9% reduction of the salary of the Mayor.
6% reduction of the salary of the Aldermen.
Staff salary reduction of Confidence in the same proportion to the rest of staff.
5% reduction in allocations to political groups and attendance at plenary and committees.
The financial amounts of these reforms have been carried out following the recommendations of the Agreement of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
