The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, chaired the Bureau of Tourism Quality SICTED Project which met yesterday to grant fourteen distinctions Tourist Quality Commitment to companies and public services of the town who have achieved the quality standards required by the methodology the Spanish Tourism Quality System (SCTE).
The meeting also was attended, among others, by the Councillor for Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, the Technical Institute of Tourism Region and inspection of Tourism, Cecilia Dominguez, as well as representatives of the Association of Businessmen and Industrialists (ACIA) , of the Professional Association of Innkeepers (Hosteaguilas) and the Tourist Office of the town.
Since the government team is still committed to the SICTED Eagles Project, taking a new approach to it, with the intention to continue adding public services and attracting businesses committed to continuous improvement to achieve an optimal level of homogeneous quality of services offered to tourist destination within, so that no substantial deficiencies in quality between different products (agents) that make up the supply destination and thus, negative conditioning of perception and satisfaction of tourists appreciate.
The distinctive "Tourist Quality Commitment" is awarded to companies / tourist services that have demonstrated compliance with the requisitosfijados.
Unreconocimiento is the effort and commitment to continuous improvement qualityand while distinguishes the establishment against the competition.
The badge is valid biennial, although it is subject to an annual follow-up evaluation.
