With majority support from their bases, Izquierda Unida and we, together other organizations exchange, have reached an agreement to compete in a unitary candidacy for the upcoming elections on June 26.
From the local Association of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) in Aguilas we welcome this agreement, because as we recalled in another statement after the last municipal elections, "neither we nor IU nor any other force alone is able to defeat the bipartisanship and transform reality. "
On 26 June, the hopes and dreams of an entire people are at stake.
The Spanish and Spanish have been given the opportunity to choose to continue with the neoliberal policies that both PP and PSOE have applied since the outbreak of the crisis or change that represents the application 'United We Can', the result of that confluence.
Nearly five million unemployed, 20% of the population below the poverty line, widespread corruption, dismantling of public health, public education, setbacks in gender equality, coarctation of civil liberties, thousands of evictions, waste of money pharaonic public works unnecessary ... this is the legacy of the last government of the Popular Party and the Socialist Party.
Faced with an adverse reality, the communist militancy aquiline commitment to weave networks of unity that help create that necessary to defeat the regime's forces and offer an alternative government counter.
An alternative that should be based on the principles of solidarity, social justice, equality and respect for the environment.
In the firm conviction that the 'United We Can' coalition represents the will to change so necessary for the working sectors and humble of our country, from the Party and the Young Communist League in Aguilas we call on our members and supporters to participate in this election campaign so that together, we are united, we can win a better future.
