After five days full of activities, on Friday concluded the Cultural Week of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Our Lady of Sorrows in which this year when it has reached its twenty-first edition, there have been musical performances and dance, lectures and, how could it be otherwise, the theater group by the association.
Were the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the president of the association, Catalina Garcia, in charge of closing the program of activities and did so after a speech in which the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, made a historical overview of the influence of popular song in the culture of the Spanish women when the only education they received, in most cases, was the family and that which came through the only means of communication available for all as it was the radio.
After the ceremony both Moreno and Garcia agreed on the magnificent reception of all scheduled activities.
"You are all of you, the members and the management team, with your effort lográis surpass the success and participation in this cultural week, year after year," said the first mayor aquiline.
