Fifty scouts Eagles belonging to the "Severo Montalvo" and "Cultural Center Renfe" groups have recently participated in the partial reforestation Garden Stove, around the shrine, an activity which also involved the mayor Isabel Maria Torrente.
It is a new environmental education action proposed and organized by the Department of Environment of the City aquiline, which has become popular to have excellent reception, this time by the scouts and their monitors.
From early in the morning and under the supervision of technicians and collaborators of the Department for more than an hour the young planted several species of trees and shrubs, among which there were mesquite, hackberry, pomegranate, fig, strawberry tree and broom, interested also for its features.
Previously they had been distributed by area, after proceeding with the collection and transfer woodland, recognize and condition the designated places, making a controlled plantation groups and finally a small irrigation.
Trees and shrubs that are already growing in the garden Stove come from the donation made to the Department by the company "Viveros Alhárabe" Moratalla and own production of the Botanical Garden of Eagles IES Europe.
After the activity, the mayor of the Environment congratulated all participants, thanking the two scout groups their effort and involvement.
"These kids have shown that they are an example of sensitivity to the environment," said Maria Isabel Torrente.
