The mayors of Tourism and Environment, Gines Desiderio Navarro and Isabel Torrente, respectively, attended this morning hoisting blue flags, Q Ecoplayas quality and collected by the municipality.
In total there are ten Blue Flag awards today are flying in the locality;
seven of them on the beaches of Las Delicias, Levante, La Colonia, Poniente, Calarreona, La Higuerica and La Carolina;
two marinas Juan Montiel and Yacht Club and one Interpretation Centre del Mar. In addition, "as noted Navarro- novelty this year have achieved the distinction of Ecoplaya to Calarreona in recognition of efficient environmental management and environmental" .
Finally the mayors of Tourism and Environment have agreed about that "these flags and look at our beaches are an acknowledgment of the excellent quality of bathing water, the removal of architectural barriers and compliance with laws and regulations relating to the management sustainable coastal and own imperatives of FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) to which the Blue Flag "program belongs.
