The beach of La Colonia was the setting for the presentation of the campaign Eagles enjoy safe bathing, launched by the Directorate General of Emergency Region of Murcia and with the collaboration of the City of Eagles.
The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, accompanied by the Councillor for Citizen Security, Vicente Ruiz, and the Director General of Emergency, Manuel Duran, were responsible for raising awareness of this initiative.
Moreno stressed that "awareness campaigns are crucial and so is that swimmers respect the instructions of emergency response personnel whose intention is to ensure our security."
The campaign consists of the distribution of 70,000 bottles of water including the bottles, a series of tips such as convenience to swim in supervised beaches, be aware of the color of the flag, know its meaning, follow directions of lifeguards, protect the sun and heat, do not enter the water abruptly ...
After finishing his meeting with the media the first aquiline mayor wanted to thank the work being carried out all assigned to Copla Plan and which is allowing people to date enjoy a quiet summer on our beaches.
