Southeast Incoming DMC reached last week at Feria CE Paris Motor Show, an agreement with the French tour operator Sea Voyage, which will ensure the arrival in the region of Murcia, and in particular to Eagles, French tourists, who will carry out stays of seven nights, generating more than 15,400 overnight stays.
The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, offered this morning a press conference with managers of Southeast Incoming, Asensio Martinez and Olga Montiel, in which the first mayor noted that "this agreement is not a day's work, but they have been working for more than two years to make it a reality for the city. We hope this is the first of many agreements that are closed not only for the benefit of columbines companies but of all the people. "
During those two years, the council has supported Incoming Southeast, especially with a Fam Trip in which the main French operators visited the town.
Since then aquiline company has conducted all meetings and steps, taking shape last week in signing this agreement with the French operator Sea Voyage, considered one of the leading French wholesalers specialized in the segment of MICE and incentive tourism .
This type of tourism, the mayor Gines Desiderio Navarro said that "is a tourist segment that was not exploited here. In the same vein, Asensio Martinez, said that "the aim is Incoming Southeast seasonally adjusted tourism and promote the Region of Murcia".
In fact, right now they are working to close similar agreements with several European markets and in different tourist segments.
Regarding the location, the agreement will mean the arrival of at least 500 tourists in 2016/17, 700 in 2017/18 and 1000 tourists tourists in 2018/19.
The first group will arrive the next few weeks and Martinez has called the hospitality sector of the city to tip over in these tourists so this is the first of other visits to Eagles.
