About 13,000 young Murcia unemployed under 30 participating in the program Youth Guarantee (15/10/2016)

38 percent of youth enrolled leave the European program to find a quality job

Youth Guarantee program has in the region of Murcia with about 13,000 young people enrolled.

It is under age 30 who are not currently working and not studying or involved in training projects.

This was remembered today by the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez, taking advantage of the celebration of the Partnerships Fair organized for the 'Young in October' Aguilas, whose inauguration attended today.

"Thanks to the actions taken by the regional government, these young people can have a set of resources and options to promote their employability, through a personalized itinerary that facilitates their participation in training processes adapted to market needs, practices companies, a job or support their entrepreneurship, "added the Minister.

The Youth Guarantee is a European initiative that aims to facilitate the access of young people to the labor market.

To do so, it ensures that those over 16 and under 30 registered to receive an offer of employment, education or training after completing their studies or become unemployed.

In fact, in the region this initiative is "very good data, since 38 percent of these young people leave the program to find a job," said Hernandez.

To register for the registration of the Youth Guarantee you must not have worked in the 30 days prior to the date of filing of the application, or be receiving educational or training activities.

The Minister noted that "the main concern of the regional government is to generate employment opportunities for Murcia."

Thus, he added, "the regional government has clear which route to follow: bring stability, stimulate the economy of the region, facilitating entrepreneurship and, parallel to this, supporting a particularly decisive manner to the groups that most difficulties they have access to a job. "

In this regard, Hernandez said that "Murcia Executive is working to create employment opportunities for young people, via paid in business practices, or through courses commitment to hire, for example."
