The IES Europe students get the first prize of the competition Short with Violence (25/11/2016)

Framed in the acts that since the Council of Equality have been programmed on the occasion of 25N, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the House of Culture hosted yesterday the awards and projection of the short films presented to the VI Short Competition with Violence.

The act began with the intervention of Antonia Reche, a technician from the Women's Center, who wanted to highlight the high participation this year, with a total of 26 works, all with the common note of rejection of any form of violence and the message Positive that there is an exit for this situation.

After the visualization of all the works, the mayor of Igualdad, Isabel Torrente, addressed all the attendants before whom he said that "the fight against sexist violence is a commitment of everyone before whom we can not and should not stay away from crossed arms".

Finally, the mayor, together with the Councilor of Festivities, Encarnación Navarro, proceeded to the awards ceremony:

First prize: Find the differences, made by Elisabeth Davis, Francis Hurtado and Nelly Suquilanda of IES Europe.

Second Prize: Both she and him, made by Marina Hernández, Ignacio Palma, María Pérez and Raquel Sánchez-Fortún of the IES King Carlos III.

Third Prize: Love without conditions, by María Bautista, charlie Doyle, Dominica de Grazia, Paula de Bajo, Luz Mª Sánchez and Juan Antonio López from IES King Carlos III.
