On the occasion of the World Day Against Cancer, held tomorrow, the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer has installed an information point throughout the morning in the Plaza de España.

Under the premise that 40% of diagnoses can be prevented with healthy living habits, members of the association have distributed apples to all those who have come up there, among them the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno.

The planned activities will continue tomorrow with a symbolic act of lighting candles in the popular "pava de la balsa" at 6.30 pm.
