The Municipality of Águilas and Cáritas Parroquial de San José have renewed the collaboration agreement between the non-profit organization and the consistory;

An agreement that makes possible the hiring of unemployed persons at risk of social exclusion and for which the City Council contributes the amount of 200,000 euros.

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the president of Cáritas, Manuel Amatriaín, were responsible for initializing this document yesterday, which includes novelties aimed at improving the existing one and which have arisen from numerous meetings held between the heads of Caritas, Services Social and the City.

"The objective of the amendments included in the agreement that we have signed is to seek the professionalisation of the beneficiaries." Moreno continued, "we have considered it appropriate that work be complemented by training activities. After the end of the work period have the basic training requirements that are required in the main sectors of economic activity of our municipality. "

As for the duration of the contracts, these will initially be three months and may be extended three more provided there are favorable reports of the tasks developed, favorable reports of follow-up of socio-labor insertion and assistance to training actions.
