One more year the popular Roundabout of Eagles was filled yesterday with hundreds of schoolchildren who became the protagonists of the traditional Christmas Carols Contest, organized by the councils of Education and Celebrations of the Águilas City Council with the collaboration of the Aguileño Musical Board whose School Band, under the baton of maestro Juan Rojo, she was in charge of opening the act with an instrumental repertoire of Christmas music.
The young musicians of the Band School gave way to the school María Inmaculada that played Hecho con tus sueños;
Carlos V with Trisch tratsch Polja;
Mediterranean with the classic Jingle Bells;
Los Lomas with Wonderful Christmas Time;
Urci playing Merry Christmas I wish you singing;
Ramón y Cajal with You are my Christmas;
Joaquín Tendero with Times of Peace;
and Our Lady of Sorrows who also sang Made with your dreams.
Before finalizing, the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Festejos, Encarna Navarro, and the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado, gave the professors of the participating centers a trophy for their collaboration.
