The Auditorium registers an increase of 20% of spectators in 2017 (09/01/2018)

The mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez, has released statistical data both in terms of public attendance and number of events recorded in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena during the recently completed year 2017. The mayor has assessed "very positively "figures that represent an increase of 20% in terms of public, from 33,027 spectators in 2016 to 39,785 in 2017, and 12% in terms of scheduled performances, standing at 129 in 2017 compared to 116 in 2016.

The commitment to quality and the application of reduced rates for students, unemployed and groups are the main circumstances that, in the opinion of the mayor of the area, "have helped the influx of audiences to the Auditorium has recorded this significant increase."

In the same line Hernandez has said that "these figures support the work being developed from the council in order to make the culture accessible to all."
