Ana Mª Miarro: "From the Popular Party we want to thank Lourdes Hospitality for their work not only with the pilgrimage to Lourdes, but with other service activities to those who need it.
The popular councilor explains that this year marks the 40th Anniversary of the presence in our town of the Hospitality Association of Lourdes, the same pilgrimage to the French city of Lourdes, to his Marian shrine.
Ana Mª Miarro remembers that the Association began its journey in the year 1978, with the help of a group of aquilines, led by Emilio Moreno, who would later become the first delegate in guilas de la Hospitalidad.
He then took the responsibility of the delegation Antonio Legs, which continued to strengthen the local hospitality, being Miguel Crouseilles who then took the reins for twenty years, in which, the delegation of aquiline turned of age, becoming one of the most important of the Region of Murcia.
The councilor continues saying that at present, Marita Prez and Juan Carlos Espinosa have been at the helm of the delegation since 2005, that they are still working for and for the aquilinees in their work not only with the pilgrimage to Lourdes, but also with other service activities to those who need it, being known in each corner and referring to other delegations in the Region.
Therefore, from the Popular Party we believe it necessary to make an "Institutional Recognition to the Hospitality of Lourdes de guilas for their humanitarian work and service to others with the delivery of a plaque at the events scheduled for its 40th Anniversary".
