Águilas City Council and the Movelia company, specializing in the promotion of public passenger transport services by road, have signed a collaboration agreement.
Under this agreement, Águilas is included in the leading portal for the sale of bus tickets in Spain, offering a total of 23 transport operators in a single platform.
In other words, the municipality is included in a search engine that offers the possibility not only to acquire any bus ticket to or from Águilas online, but also when someone requests a route that can not be made directly, the system will automatically search for all possible alternatives, so that those interested can choose the one that best suits their needs and acquire all the necessary tickets to carry it out.
The signing of this agreement, which took place at the recently held International Tourism Fair (FITUR), took place between the local mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the general director of Movelia, Santiago Vallejo.
In the words of the mayor, "the signed agreement will allow the promotion of the tourist destination Águilas in the different sales channels of Movelia, leading portal in the sale of bus tickets, while greatly facilitating the process of acquiring travel tickets to Águilas or from Águilas ".
