In January they announced the transfer of summer concerts to the Águilas football field.
Citizens have checked during the plenary last March, how the Mayor, with the socialist votes and with the vote purchased from Izquierda Unida for € 32,000 per month (about € 450,000 a year from our tax money), has approved not to study other measures or solutions opting to eliminate the concerts of the Plaza Antonio Cortijos and, therefore, any activity that may cause inconvenience to some neighbors.
From Ciudadanos we understand that, if the City Council "authorizes" an activity, it must be because it has the appropriate permits and complies with current legislation.
Then, if there is authorization and the regulations are complied with, why eliminate that activity?
One of the few solutions considered has been the use of the Águilas football field to hold the concerts there "because there are no buildings around".
That is, remove the "alleged problem" of one place, to take it to another, where, yes, there are buildings, a large number of them, unless the field of the Eagles is no longer located where it was a few days ago.
Citizens practice the policy of common sense and we will continue to insist on finding better solutions than those taken so quickly and poorly by the Socialist Government Team.
