The lawn is a place of visual enjoyment and, of course, of rest for aquilines.
That is why, from the City Council, these green areas are going to be replanted with more than 900,000 seeds, thus seeking a substantial improvement of these green spaces.
"The system that will be used is a treadmill machine that carries out the plowing of the land, after which recebo and peat are applied and this is achieved so that these seeds grow quickly and give rise to a green and strong lawn," explains the mayor of Service Providers, Isabel Fernández.
To do this, for six weeks six people will be responsible for replanting those areas where the action of planting seeds is more necessary.
In particular, Fernández clarifies, it will act mainly in the green areas of the Paseo de Poniente as well as in the parks of the downtown area and the outskirts of the municipality of Águilas, among others.
Some works that will be carried out coinciding with the arrival of spring, and that will be carried out by members of the concessionary company of parks and gardens, STV Gestión, who has previously made an analysis of the different green areas of the municipality of Águilas.
