Eagles Carnival again in summer dress (03/08/2010)

For the third consecutive year, the City Council and the Federation of Peñas have organized this unique show, which show a good part of this festival declared of "National Tourist Interest."

The municipality of Eagles and the Federation of Peñas Carnival organized for the third consecutive year, "Summer Carnival."

This is a sample of some of the best parades and floats, each February, participate in this festival declared of "National Tourist Interest."

The Aguilas Carnival is a traditional festivals, which have been passed from generation to generation for centuries.

These festivities began to be held in honor of "Momo", the ancient god of laughter and mockery, but over the years lost that nuance pagan to become a genuine popular expression, in an atmosphere of indescribable joy.

Traditional elements of Carnival Eagles are the "Shells" (confetti-filled eggs, which are sold over the heads of others) and "The Raven", a typical drink carnival, based on wine and fruit, which is able to animate to the character more timid.

The municipality of Eagles invites you to discover its famous Carnival, in the heart of summer.

The next Saturday, August 7, from 21.00 pm in the beautiful surroundings of the Bay East, will be held the III Carnival, in which 23 clubs will parade with the participation of more than a thousand of people and dozens of floats.

Once into the night, spilling thousands of people dressed nightlife, events that will offer specially prepared for the occasion.

Like the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos (Campus Events), which will host, with free admission, a festival of Carnival, with performances by the popular salsa band "Chocolate."
