Teachers in the Region of Murcia we have noted since last December 22 our rejection of the measures contained in the Law on Extraordinary Measures adopted by the Regional Assembly known as "snips", claiming to reduce the deficit of public accounts in our region.
Teachers are tired of hearing that education is one of the pillars in a developed society and legislative stability and investment in our students is the basis for a better future for all.
Yet we see as reduced investment in education in our region:
· Bono-book disappears.
• Reduction of templates in the centers.
• Increased number of students in classes.
• Less educational reinforcements (braces).
• Less prize money for the operation of the Centres.
• Reduction of material resources.
· Disappearance of Educational Programs.
• Less training courses for teachers-as.
· Freezing of teacher-as oppositions.
• Less teacher-as-as interim replacements for casualties and support.
· Lowering wages.
In times of crisis we all get to buckle down, but do not understand that is not cut costs on salaries of senior officials in Ministries, counselors, music festivals, art exhibitions ... and no money to meet the future generations properly.
Therefore, we invite you to participate in measures that are being developed against this Act that severely impairs the education of our and your children-as.
And we ask you to understand and apologize for the inconvenience that these measures may cause you.
