This weekend was celebrated in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos Eagles the "Gala Reina Infantil 2011 Election," an event organized by the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth and the Virgin of Solitude, which were a total of 27 candidates.
The event had the cooperation of the academies of dance: "Goyi Vera", "Aerobicmanía" and "Synergy", which gave rhythm and color at night.
The highlight of the evening came with the crowning of the new Reina Infantil 2011, that went to the columbine "Nerea Sánchez Blanco", 11, already managed to become last year as the Third Lady of Honor in this contest.
The first mayor of Eagles, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé, and so far Reina Infantil, Red Alicia Vera, Nerea imposed on the young traditional band Blanco Sánchez and Corona is credited as the new Queen Child.
