The promises of the sport in Europe Eagles meet in order to participate in the XXVII Triathlon "Marques de Aguilas", valid for the European Championships Youth and Under 23 European Cup Triathlon Junior and is also the Championship Qualifier Spain.
A Triathlon whose opening ceremony took place on Friday August 31 at 20:00 pm at the Esplanade Auditorium "Princess Elena" Eagles and was attended by the Mayor of Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, the President of the Triathlon European Union, Renato Bertrandi, the Presidents of the National Federations and Murcia, José Calvo Hidalgo and Diego respectively, and the Councillor for Sports, Diego Martínez Parra, with different authorities and representatives of cultural and social life of the village.
During the ceremony, which featured a performance of the Ballet Oficial de Peñas de Carnaval, the President of the Association of Businessmen and Industrialists of Eagles, Juan Zaragoza Siquier delivered to the Head of Municipal Sports, Salvador Palazón and Presidents of the ETU, Renato Bertrandi, the Spanish Federation, Jose Hidalgo, and Murcia Federation, Diego Calvo, a few acknowledgments to thank you Eagles have been chosen for the development of this European Championship.
Chapter of interventions, all present agreed to recognize the organizational impetus of the city, which has a long history in triathlon, aquiline and encouraging visitors to enjoy during the weekend of the different tests to be held in the Municipality.
The Eagles XXVII Marques Triathlon will compete on Saturday and Sunday at the promises of the sport, some of them already in London Olympic 2012 and that, surely, will participate in the 2016 Olympics in Brazil and in the higher classes.
