A heavy downpour yesterday downloaded over the Sierras near Eagles (10/09/2013)

Around 19:30 pm yesterday Monday, September 9, a heavy downpour dumped by the mountain closest to the town, causing the watercourses that flow into Eagles arrived full of water.

As happened with the rains that occurred last week, it is localized storms, so many pedestrians were surprised to see the water flow it covered streets, avenues and roads into the city.

Before and since the town was on yellow alert level by rainfall, was launched a special Civil Protection involving twenty members, professionals and volunteers, who along with several local police crews worked on work of signaling and traffic control at critical points of access to the city and at the mouth of rivers.

Some of the worst affected areas were the streets: Julián Hernández Zaragoza, Jose Jimenez Ruano, Barcelona and Ramon y Cajal, among others, and the ring road, the paths of Sombrerico and the Song, by the RM-D14 (a The restaurant up Pocico) and MRI-D20 (from the church of El Garrobillo and access to the AP7).

Once the storm passed and the water level dropped, activated a cleaning device that worked until the wee hours of the morning to reopen to traffic on different accesses.

From early in the morning, the cleaning operatives continue to work on tasks that allow return to normal activities in the various areas affected by the rains.
