The Las Delicias of Eagles has, since last weekend, a new certification that recognizes the comprehensive governance takes place in this beautiful and busy hooked point on the coast.
This is the prestigious banner "Ecoplayas" a distinction awarded by the Technical Association for Waste Management and Environment (Ategrus).
This is the only Spanish association covering waste management issues, environment and urban sanitation, and among its partners has different municipalities, companies and technicians in this sector.
The town won the award during the course of a national congress, held on 16, 17 and 18 October in Valencia, which addressed issues such as: coastal municipal management, accessibility, safety and rescue, recovery and restoration of dunes and other issues related to innovation and techniques available in the functioning of the beaches.
It is the first time the Eagles Hall attends and presents candidacy for this international conference and exhibition.
Obtaining this certificate, which will fly next summer in Las Delicias, will enable it to be one of the few beaches in the Murcia region in which three distinctive exhibit excellence, since it already has Blue Flag and Q of quality.
Councilman Cleaning and Environment, Isidro Carrasco, and the municipal technician in this area, Enrique Delgado, who attended on behalf of the Consistory Valencia aquiline, have delivered this morning to the local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, said flag.
During the ceremony, the mayor said that "the City of Eagle is already working to increase the number of certificates of excellence on the beaches of the city, for next summer, both blue flags as quality Q".
Meanwhile, Isidro Carrasco congratulated the Municipal Technical Environment "for their work and involvement in coastal conservation policies and sustainable management" that are its council priority.
