Eagles has a new Mobility Card for urban transport (23/10/2013)

Mobility Councilman City of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, accompanied by the manager of the concessionaire of urban transport in the municipality (AT Bus), Asensio Martinez, presented this morning at the Consistory aquiline new mobility card.

It is intended for students, pensioners and large families, identified by the color of each card, keeping current bonuses of € 0.50 cost of the ticket.

In addition, the document includes, in its rear, a watercolor of Eagles donated by local artist Antonio Licerán.

During the ceremony, Clement said the card was cardboard before and did not allow a correct identification of users or data reading, so many people found it difficult to prove their status as beneficiaries.

The new format is personalized with information and photography of the citizen, and includes a QR code that permit easy identification of the person as well as the number of trips at the disposal or the expiration date of the document.

Similarly, using a computer system, it can meet urban routes with more passengers, which will take measures to improve the management of transport services in the locality.

Initially 500 cards have been issued, which will begin shipping next week for free, since this first document will have no cost to users.

Citizens may request them by filling out a form that you will find on the Department of Transportation of the City of Eagle.

During his speech, the council stressed the importance of the AT bus company to improve the quality of urban transport and highlighted the efforts economic costs to local government to provide a service that benefits many travelers, with the goal of helping families, students and older.

Meanwhile, Asensio Martinez said that "more than 200,000 passengers used the service last year that would not be feasible without the cooperation of the Consistory aquiline" and added that, at present, three lines each day walking the city, connecting the different areas of the municipality.
