The City of Eagle will value Sagrera Mill and its surroundings (13/01/2014)

The local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez and Councilman Goods and Works, Diego Martínez, presented this morning the rehabilitation project Sagrera Mill and its surroundings, including a performance at the Tourism Competitiveness Plan "Eagles, Sea and Fisheries ".

The works, which have already begun, have a cost award of 514,752 euros '17 and end this year, putting value in another important tourist spot in the city that will join the recently restored mill Los Alacranes.

As explained by local authorities, it is a work of special features, mainly because it is located in an area of ​​difficult access, why they had to make a detailed study of both the heavy vehicles as the place to set tower crane required for execution of work.

With this performance, the Consistory aquiline seeks to highlight an area of ​​great historical and landscape value which was pretty run down.

For this, the mill itself and restore a number of viewpoints will be built, creating a landscaped open areas and under the place where the monument sits and its surroundings, from where a spectacular view of the Bay of Levante currency.

Similarly, lighting, street furniture and defense elements are placed, such as fencing, but always with the idea that this will not be a visual barrier to the sea.

After completion, visitors to this area will be part of the tourist routes that develop in Eagles to unveil the monumental deal in town.
