Celebrities and personalities opt for Eagles as a tourist destination (24/01/2014)

Eagle has attended this year's International Tourism Fair Fitur, with a full and varied program of events, designed to promote the city and establish a set of contacts to help boost its tourism.

One of the highlights was the one that took place last night at the Hotel Husa Princesa Madrid, where prizes and awards to promote tourism Eagles surrendered.

Numerous celebrities and personalities from different sectors, supported by their presence the image of the town as a holiday destination.

Policy makers, journalists, actors, singers, athletes or businessmen, most of them national, participated in this event which sought to recognize those who have shown affinity with the city.

Similarly, meant to convey to society that this town has much to offer and who knows what is captivated by its many attractions.

Some of those present at the event were: Carmen Vela and Jaime García-Legaz, secretaries of state, Juan María Vázquez, Director of Research and Management Plan I + D + i; Vicente Martínez-Pujalte, deputy, Francisco Jodar and Jesus Caicedo, mayor of Lorca and Cuevas del Almanzora, José María Álvarez del Manzano, former mayor of Madrid and President of IFEMA, Escámez Alfonso, Marquis of Eagles; Sebastián Zaragoza, former AJEMA, Francisco Zamora Bridges, Lieutenant General of the Army , Maria José Andrés Boch and Caparros, journalists, Siro López, sports commentator, Norma Friedmann and Miriam Sanchez, television presenter and contributor respectively, or journalists also Beatriz Trapp, Paco Costas and José Manuel Parada, among a long list of guests .

Also in attendance were artists such as: The Vivancos, Manu Tenorio, Dioni Camela, Ainhoa ​​Cantalapiedra, Hugo Salazar or Decapitated.

The latter two also performed at the gala, next to the famous composer Ismael Moya, who played in a wonderful novelty song specially composed for Eagles.

The Rabal family, follow the trail of the famous actor aguileño Francisco Rabal, who always carried the name with pride Eagles.

He received the award, his daughter Teresa Rabal.

Renfe, to improve and expand rail communications with the municipality, while developing tourism campaigns of the city by different stations in the country.

He received the award, the president of Renfe, Julio Gómez-Pomar.

The actor Edu Soto, for their participation in national television programs, designed to promote the tourism image of Eagles.

He received the award, the artist himself.

Lola Baldrich, actress and singer, Elena Jiménez, TVE journalist; Jordi Rebellón, actor, Venancio López, national team soccer, Pepa Aniorte, actress, Juan Valderrama, singer, Miguel Porlán "Chendo", ex-footballer and delegate Real Madrid CF and Julio Castelo, representing the Mapfre Foundation.

All of them present in this magical evening, they collected their awards from the hands of the Council of Tourism, Beaches and New Technologies, Clara Valverde, Juan Isidro Carrasco and José Asensio, respectively.

During the course of the gala, the local chief executive acknowledged the assistance of all the guests and encouraged them to continue spreading the name of Eagle.

Hospitable people, beautiful beaches, great climate, delicious cuisine and a full cultural and festive, among which is a Carnival of National Tourist Interest, are, according to Bartolome Hernandez, more than enough reasons to visit the city and enjoy a stay unforgettable.
