Eagle City Council final preparations for security of Carnival (07/02/2014)

Eagles Mayor Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by several councilors of municipal government, met this morning with representatives of the various agencies and entities that participate in the Specific Plan Emergency Carnival.

During the development of the Safety Board, Hernandez said the device was activated on February 22 and end on March 8, during which gradually will be added effective to a figure well above the hundred people which shall ensure that this Festival of National Tourist Interest, which each year attracts thousands of visitors from around the world, passes without notable incidents.

As reported by the local chief executive, this Plan outlines a range of measures to deal with, quickly and effectively to any emergency that may occur, both in urban and in rural areas, during the celebration of the different events that will take place during Carnival and in the hours before and after completion thereof.

Like every year, the device will bring together effective Civil Protection, Municipal Emergency Service, Fire Consortium, Murciano Health Service, 061, Red Cross, Local Police, Civil Guard, Private Security or various Municipal Technical Services and a lot of material resources, among which are: hospital, fire trucks, ambulances or cars of Civil Protection, Civil Guard and local police, among others.
