The Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, through the Directorate General of Industry, Energy and Mines has authorized the start of the process to supply natural gas to the town of Aguilas.
In particular, the Directorate General has approved the final design and recognized public utility facilities to natural gas distribution Eagles.
This process, which will hold the company Gas Energy Distribution Murcia allow the embodiment of Gasification of municipal infrastructure, to deliver this energy to the city center and new residential areas and industrial areas.
The Director General of Industry, Energy and Mines, Pedro Jimenez, said that "this new infrastructure will improve the quality of life of the locals, as well as environmental quality and provides an energy diversification."
It is expected that the implementation of the facility is conducted in a period of approximately ten months.
"The intention is that the infrastructure is properly installed in a reasonable time, so that the aquiline can enjoy the natural gas in their homes at the end of this year," Jimenez said.
The operating budget will be about 412,000 euros.
The facilities are mainly composed of an air supply, gas supply, regasification and atmospheric regulation and measurement station for delivery of natural gas to the distribution network.
The origin of the network will be located at the outlet of the regulating and metering station and will pass along the relevant distribution.
This infrastructure is one of the measures envisaged in the framework agreement for the development of gasification in the Region of Murcia, concluded by the Community with Gas Natural Group.
