This morning was inaugurated in the CEIP El Rubial an exhibition dedicated to the development of esparto a job linked to the municipality from its founding in the eighteenth century and remained active until the mid-twentieth century, coming to represent one of the main sources of income for the inhabitants of Eagles.
The opening ceremony was attended by councilors of Celebration, Women, Education and Culture, Clara Valverde, Maria Patrocinio Martínez, Francisco Clemente and Francisco Miguel Martínez, respectively, accompanied by members of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval, who were received arrival by the center's director, Inmaculada Hernández.
The exhibition has been organized to celebrate the character of Child Musson, closely linked to Esparto in his dress, went this year in Juan Pedro Moreno Lopez, a student at this school until last year, since now and studying in the institute .
The exhibition, open to the entire school community until Friday, gathers donated by the direction of the Museum of Esparto objects, along with items made by the students themselves, as well as information panels were exhibited during the commemoration of Local Day Esparto .
