As every first of the month, the local development council, Industry, Trade and Employment aquiline Consistory, Bartolomé Carlos Buitrago, has released the unemployment data related to Eagles, who have been released by the Employment and Training Service Region of Murcia (SEF).
As reported by the mayor, the number of unemployed in the town has been reduced by 150 people in February, marking the first time in seven years that unemployment has fallen this month, placing as the largest Murcia town of 20,000 inhabitants where unemployment has dropped more, namely a 4'71%, while in the region of Murcia in Spain and the decrease was 0.72% and 0.04%, respectively.
It has decreased mainly in the services sector, followed by construction and industry.
In February have created 2,879 new contracts, more than double the same period last year, a very positive figure who contributed to the contracts made for the Carnival, has clarified the councilman.
Charles Bartholomew stressed that, in annual rates, February 2013 to February 2014, Eagle has 264 fewer unemployed, representing a decrease of 8'28%.
At the regional level has been lowered from 4.47% and in the whole country of 4'73%.
