The promenade of Quiñoneros, better known as the Snakes boardwalk, is traditionally one of the most contentious points of Eagles occur when large avenues.

The fact leading to the town center, in the Bay of Levante, this increases the risk of runway, now the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment Agency, will proceed to cleaned by removing invasive vegetation and native controlled pruning.

The goal is to ensure adequate hydraulic capacity.

Currently, the bed of the ravine of the Snakes is saturated by invasive species in the section immediately preceding the entry into Eagles.

This increases the risk of flooding during torrential rains, excess vegetation can obstruct the flow of water, which usually end up jumping to the annexed areas and into urban areas.

The objective of the CHS is not only making a point showing that simply eliminating alien species that block the promenade, but also followed for the next seven months to ensure that they do not proliferate again.

In total, the area over which it acts is 12,000 square meters.
